Review by hotel critic
Our stay at Butler Arms offered a mix of luxury and value that catered well to our needs. The room was comfortable and clean, though a bit dated. The heating system did have a hiccup, which was promptly attended to by the helpful staff. Room service was efficient, allowing us to enjoy a meal in the cozy surroundings of our room while watching the sunset over the ocean. The absence of ironing facilities was a bit inconvenient, especially for a longer stay. On the upside, the Wi-Fi connection was reliable, enabling us to stay connected with ease. The hotel's location by the promenade provided stunning views and easy access to the beach. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast spread was satisfying. The bar/lounge area was a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. All in all, Butler Arms offered a pleasant stay with a good balance of amenities and comfort, making it a reasonable choice for those seeking a mix of luxury and value.
